Executive Order for Flu Vaccine

Executive Order for Flu Vaccine

How many of your colleagues had a cold or the flu in the past year? How about a family member? Your children? More often than not the answer is “too many”. Recent studies published by The Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, indicate that workplace absenteeism is on the rise – especially between 2017 – 2018. It is stated that the 2017 flu season was the worst outbreak out of the previous five seasons. Majority of the absenteeism was between November and January and affected workers between 45 and 64 years of age mostly.

President Trump is preparing an executive order for the flu shot makers to use new development processes and encourage vaccination. Even though Trump is preparing the order, Congress will still need to approve the funding. The order is expected to establish a task force to identify ways to monitor the progress and to incentivize vaccine makers to use new development processes that are faster than the traditional approach.

Creating a new process for the vaccines, and then having a vaccination can help lessen the chances of falling ill with influenza. However, what about PREVENTING the flu from limiting on surfaces you come into contact with on a daily basis? It’s much easier to treat the flu if you never get it. We can administer standard disinfectants in our office or at home but those last seconds and provide no protection while people re in the facilities. MicroShield 360™ is a proprietary coating system that with one application can eliminate these concerns. In fact, it can be applied to any surface. It is EPA registered and FDA approved for food contact surfaces.

Contact MicroShield 360 today to protect your family, patrons or staff from 90+ pathogens every second of every day for an entire year.
